COURT RELOCATION
The Medina Municipal Court will be relocating in September 2026. The court will take up operations in the 1969 Courthouse on the square in the City of Medina. That 1969 Courthouse (i.e., the Greek revival building with the white pillars on the square’s east side) was previously occupied by the Medina County Court of Common Pleas. Going forward, the two courts will be accessed by a single secure entry on E. Washington St. just east of the square.
The Medina Municipal Court’s relocation is scheduled as follows:
1. 9/16/26: Last day of operations at the current courthouse, i.e., 135 N. Elmwood Ave., Medina, Ohio.
2. 9/28/26: First day of operations at the new courthouse, i.e., 223 E. Washington St., Medina Ohio.
With limited exception, the Medina Municipal Court will not be operating during the period of the relocation between 9/17/26 and 9/27/26.
If you have a court proceeding scheduled on or after Monday, 9/28/26, you will report to the new Medina Municipal Court location at 223 E. Washington St.
