From I-71, exit at State Route 18. Take 18 west into the city of Medina. Continue west on OH-18 for 3.5-4 miles, which turns into E. Washington Street as you enter Medina. Follow E. Washington Street towards the Public Square. When OH-18 traffic is directed to turn right onto S Jefferson St, do so. Make a Left onto E Liberty St followed by another left onto S Broadway St. driving past the old entrance and front of the Courthouse, make a left onto E. Washington St., from there you will see the Courthouse on the left hand side, parking, and the public parking deck. Parking is free. Enter through the Medina County Courthouse main entrance and take the connecting hallway to the left as directed.
The court has no facilities to accommodate children. Courtroom activities are not appropriate for children. It is unwise and inappropriate to have your child with you in a courtroom when you are involved in a court proceeding. Any child under the age of 12 who is present in the courthouse must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. If you are involved in a court case, whether as a party, a witness, or a juror, please make arrangements for child care ahead of time.
Teachers and chaperones may accompany students for school field trips.
